History book

Lessons From History is a spiral bound book with one page history lessons. This book covers the dates from 100 BC to 1300 AD. There are two other books in this series, which I don't have (or can't find). I used these books as an overview for my younger children. Good condition, laminated front and back, nearly 100 pages. American Civics

Very good condition, this hard cover book is a great resource for teaching about our government, citizenship, the constitution, political parties, etc., even though its an older book. Covers the basics. I used this along with other government books. No writing.

Exploring Phsical Science

I bought this book on a whim and never used it. It's in the same condition as it was when I bought it, except the pages are a little bit more yellowed. Soft cover, teachers' edition, 250+ pages, no writing. Excellent lessons with teacher's answers written in red.

Magruder's American Government

Old hard bound textbook I bought at a homeschool book store.  This book of 750+ pages covers  more about our government. I used this book with the American Civics book. Great resource, even though its old.

Easy Grammar, 5-6

This series of grammar books is my favorite! One big book was broken down into smaller, more manageable sizes for my children. Spiral binding, soft cover front and back, used, but not written in. I gave my children spiral notebooks to rewrite the assignments in.

This series of books is presented in a format that has (when opened) the right side of the page as the student work, the left side is the teachers side with correct answers written in.

Grade 5-6 books has 7 parts. Parts 1,2 show some wear.

Easy Grammar, 3-4

I LOVE these books! Very well written. Perfect for teaching grammar. This series is great for teaching correct grammar and language. Grades 3-4 has been broken down from one big book into 5 parts for ease of handling by students. Soft cover front and back, shows some wear, but no writing in any of the parts. I gave my children spiral notebooks to write their assignments in.

Easy Grammar Plus Workbooks

Easy Grammar Plus workbooks, and the whole series of Easy Grammar was written by a teacher in Arizona who saw the need for improved grammar. She wrote her own grammar concept pages with practice pages following. Thus, when the books are opened, the left side has the teacher answers, and the right side has the student practice page. Concepts are easily explained.

My favorite grammar books, this whole series, along with spelling books, completed my curriculum.

Discarded textbook, hard cover, 130 pages, some wear but in good condition, no writing, great for 3rd grade or 4th grade students to learn about the world through making things that teach a concept. Subjects range from atomic reactions, sound signals, and electromagnets, to voice records, rockets, and making smoothies. Lots of fun activities!

Mathematics in Action

Only about 15 pages, but packed with great master pages.
Grade 2 teacher's aid book of master pages to print and give students to practice graphing, hundreds chart, place value practice, geometric figures to cut out, small game board, spinner blanks, and more.

Great resource. I used the game board with a preschooler to teach letter sounds. Versatile book. Comes with extra copies of some pages for instant use.

Math Wipe off book

Small multiplication practice book is a great book for practicing times tables. Each page has large print and a small flap on the back cover folds over the practice page for students to write answers on (with a dry erase marker). Little use, but somebody got to the Two's page and wrote in black permanent marker on it. Other pages are usable with no writing.

Math books

Mathematics 7 (left) is a hard cover teachers' edition that I used as back up to teach different concepts. Subjects covered are decimals, prime numbers, perimeter, area, and volume, ratio's scientific notation, the metric system, etc.  The 360-page book has answers in blue next to each problem.

Saxon Math Algebra 1/2 is a hard cover pre-algebra book that covers wholenumbers to fractions, Multiplication to probability. Nearly 280 pages, answer key in the back.

Fundamentals of Mathematics is a hard cover book probably for adults. Roughly 450 pages, subjects covered range from basic math to practical math calculations like figuring income tax, time zones hears and pulleys, payrolls, etc.

Primary Grade Math books

These two older books both cover place value and whole numbers in the first two chapters with multiplication, division, decimals, and geometry covered near the end. Traditional math books explain a concept, then practice problems to master.  I used parts of these two books together as extra practice for a concept. The 300+ pages each, hardcover books were quite worn when I bought them several years ago, but are quite nice for practice.
